These products are biocompatible and doen’t make unwanted reaction with human cells. Generally, biocompatibility can be defined as “The ability of a material to perform with appropriate host response in a specific application”.

Matching Mechanical Properties

Our products have match mechanical properties according to matching Young Modulus. It’s the reason for preventing stress-shielding effect.

Porous structure

Our product is produced porous by SLM Technology. This technology enables us to produce porous parts from scratch.

Surface roughness

Designed Based On Tissue Engineering Principals

Three elements of Tissue engineering are scaffold, cells and, signaling factors. All these elements come together to provide the ultimate goal of tissue engineering. The goal of tissue engineering is to assemble functional constructs that restore, maintain, or improve damaged tissues or whole organs.

The porous structure of these products realizes the possibility of angiogenesis within the structure. Their interconnected porous structure allows eficient mass transfer within the structure in order to form a new functional tissue within the pores. Also the surface roughness of these products is as the cue that effect on cell behavior.

Better Cell Behavior

In summary, for a moderately rough surface, stable cell adhesion, cell growth, and, consequently, proliferation would be energetically favourable. Surface nano roughness affects protein adsorption and gives contact guidance to the adhered cells to grow.
